1. What is a Canadian permanent resident visa?
A permanent resident visa allows an individual to live in Canada as long as the status is maintained. It allows the individual to work or study in any of Canada's provinces or territories, as well as the right to re-enter Canada at any time with the necessary idenitification.
A permanent resident of Canada is eligible for the health care services of the province of residence.
2. Who can I include in my immigration application?
Immediate family members such as a spouse or common-law partner and dependent children may generally be included in a Canadian immigration application.
3. Can I establish a business in Canada without first immigrating to Canada?
Yes, it is often possible for a foreign individual to establish a business and work in Canada. A business owner, executive, or manager (and in some cases employees with specialized skills which are critical to the new division) may be eligible to seek a Canadian work visa in order to engage in the establishment and growht of the Canadian enterprise.
Depending on the goals of the individual, a permanent resident application can also be submitted while a work permit is held.
